My School Autobiography:

Brief Description: This is part of a school autobiography that I wrote for my English class about 2 years ago. I just happened to get a good grade on it, so I decided to post it here. I also thought that this may be a good way for peoeple to learn more about my background and history. Howvever, I will only put up one part of the whole entire autobiography in here, becuase the whole thing is 5 pages! Sorry if the word choice is not very interesting...please don't forget, I was only a 6th Grader!

Kingergarten (1997~1999):

Kindergarten was, and still is, a place where a lot of interesting memories came from. My kingergarten was called Midori Youchien (yo-oo-chi-en), which means "Green Kindergarten" in Japanese. I always thought that it was a little ironic, because I can always picture the kindergarten as being a "brown place", and not green. It was a Catholic kindergarten, so we had prayer before every single activity we did. And of course, when Christmas came, we always had the nativity play.
My closest friend was called Yuri, and I had met her in nursery. We were a very mischievous pair, and Yuri's imagination and my activness got our plans coming up non-stop.Yuri was younger than me, but that did not stop her from ANYTHING. Once, we hid behind the slide in the playground and missed lunch prayer. Another time, we banged on the piano until a teacher came and caught us. The teachers asaid that everyone in the building could hear us, which made us feel very proud. But out of all the bad things we did, there is one, which I regret the most and I am sure it would never leave my memory. This is what happened:
There was a girl in a class below Yuri, who had a slight mental problem. I think she was called Yukari, but I can only remember her face. Yuri and I had never heard about people who were different to us in that way, so we thought that she was really bizarre. One day, the llittle girl came up to me with a pair of scissors and cut my new llunch mat. I was so furious that I yelled at her over and over, and called her stupid. I don't know if she really knew what stupid meant, but she came up to me and pulled my hair until I screamed in pain. It wasn't surprising that I got mad because she had done something to me without much of a reason. But somehow, Yuri was more furious than I was. Maybe she was angry as well because I was her friend, but I still think it was strange how she looked like the girl had slapped HER in the face instead. Then Yuri did something I would never dare to do now. She grabbed the pair of scissors off the little girl, and she started to cut about 10cm of the girl's hair. I was surprised, and I was schocked. Wow, I thought. I had never seen Yuri do something THAT mean before.
"Aki, get a pair of scissors and cut the other side. Make sure it's not too messy though." commanded Yuri. I hesitated, and tried to find an excuse that could stop both of us from going any further.
"Hey Yuri, I think we should...I don't know...ask Yukari (if that was her name) first." I said. So Yuri asked the girl if she minded getting her hair cut. I prayed that she would not accept the offer, but I was definitely not lucky. As usual, the little girl had no idea what we were saying, and randomly nodded. Yuri took it seriously.
"See! She says she doesn't mind, so we can cut her hair." she said, smiling. So, without thinking much, I picked up a pair of scissors and cut her hair. I cut one side, and Yuri cut the other. I don't remember how I got caught, or what happened afterwards, but I'm sure that our parents weren't really happy.
